Bidvertiser is an internet advertising company offering site-targeted pay-per-click (PPC) text ads and image ads. For Advertisers
Any individual or companies who are interested to advertise products or websites can sign up as advertisers with Bidvertiser. EBay sellers can also advertise their listings or eBay Stores using the same features as regular advertisers. Targeted pay per click advertising allows advertisers to choose specific categories of websites for their ads to appear. Every category is listed with the number of websites available for advertising in that category. With this specific selection feature, advertisers will know exactly where their visitors are coming from. The ads are pay-per-click (PPC) model which means that they are charged only when they are clicked with options for advertisers to select the amount they are willing to pay for each click. Advertisers can choose different cost-per-click of an ad for each category they want to advertise in based on competitions in each categories. Publishers will have to categorize their websites so that ads that will appear on their sites are in the same categories. Bidvertiser is a good alternative contextual ad because it offers minimum payment as low as USD10 through PayPal or USD50 by check. Since advertisers bid for best ads placement, you can check the highest bidder for your website categories with the Bidvertiser Center feature. The ads management systems are really nice and organize allowing old or unused ads to be deleted. Publishers also have the option to view every advertiser’s websites and image ads and decline any ads that are not suitable to or not in the interest of the publishers. With detailed report for each ad such as clicks, click-through rate, impressions, and earnings, publishers can monitor performance of every ad and make changes whenever they want to. Other best thing is publishers can view the highest bid from every advertisers of same category that are possible to appear on their blogs.
Referral
A referral program is also available for users to refer both advertiser and publisher. Comparing to other common advertising network, most of them do not offer any referral or affiliate program that allow you to earn from referrals’ earnings. With the referral programs, participants will be paid everytime a referred advertiser spends on advertising or when a referred publisher earned from advertisement.
Critisism
Besides the various advantages provided by the company, there were claims that Bidvertiser is not suitable for some blog or website categories. This is because there are still low number of advertisers participated in such categories therefore limiting the ad impressions from low to none. Another problem is that the service is not widely used and is still not suitable to be used in some countries. Most reviews in the internet would say the service is not as good as other advertising network but there are those who believed that Bidvertiser is a good advertising network. Some bloggers claimed that Bidvertiser can give more revenue than AdSense for internet marketing or ‘make money online’ blogs while other bloggers said that Bidvertiser only works with websites or blogs with good traffic. I’ve tried the service on a new blog and the result is not satisfying since the blog still have very low traffic and Bidvertiser only pay for clicks on the ads and not for impressions. It is probably true that ‘make money online’ blogs can make more with Bidvertiser because when I tried the service, large percentage of the advertisement are related to the ‘make money online’ category eventhough I signed up in different category.
