I have to agree with you about all those so-called gurus. Are they really gurus or are they only gurus in their own minds. I think the latter is the real truth. There are ways to market your product w/o throwing it down others throats. Enough is enough!

Discovering the right niche for one’s self is of the utmost importance. Having some diversity is good and makes people come back to your blog to see what’s on your mind. I like a mix of things and it makes me go back to certain blogs to see what they are up to.

The right training is so important for the newbie. If I only knew then what I know now, Wow! I would have been a lot better off. Live and learn is how the saying goes and I am continually learning every day.

I just couldn’t help but comment on your blogging design it is impressive – It is like hed kandi has influenced you a great deal and how it turned out here is impressive and with regards to niche blogging you are absolutely right. Bloggers should learn to find out what they are interested in first and then determine how or what approach in terms of marketing works best for their style But above all that it is always a work in progress. I agree with you on several points, of course your right about marketing blogs to a certain extent. Around 70% of my visitors come from Google and going by my last stats check in c-Panel 40% were unique s. I try to diversify with WWAH as much as possible.

On the niche subject I agree its a must for you to find a targeted audience and if its a subject your passionate about then you have every chance of making it a success.

As for the Gurus i am in complete agreement,but as you say its a necessary evil if nothing else just to keep up with what the latest get rich scheme is.And you can checkout the IM forums to get feedback whether is good or bad, then you can write about it and either slate it or sing its praises.

I find that a lot of newbies to IM are better off signing up to a reputable training course, this way they can focus there efforts and not get sidetracked with the many ludicrous claims of riches that are not feasible.
